וַיִּ֣חַר לְדָוִ֔ד עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר פָּרַ֧ץ יְהוָ֛ה פֶּ֖רֶץ בְּעֻזָּ֑ה וַיִּקְרָ֞א לַמָּק֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ פֶּ֣רֶץ עֻזָּ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
און דָוִדן האָט געערגערט פֿאַר װאָס גאָט האָט געבראַכט אַ בראָך אױף עוּזָהן. און מע רופֿט יענעם אָרט פֶּרֶץ-עוּזָה ביז אױף הײַנטיקן טאָג.

Dovid came into the plain of Perotzim. Dovid smote them there and declared, "Adonoy has shatterred my enemies before me like water bursting over [walls]" Because of this, he called the name of that place the plain of Perotzim
